Boston Bruins Weekly Round Up 11/10- 11/16

Boston Bruins Round Up
11/10-11/16

11/10
New Jersey Devils at Boston Bruins
W 4-2
Well this was the best game of the week. The B's seemed to be on fire in this one. Patty B registered 3 pts, Reilly Smith got 2 and Seth Griffith got one of the sickest goals of the year. Griffith's goal turned around the whole game. The B's were under attack in their defensive zone and that picked them up and changed the momentum of the game. It was also Krug's first game back and it sure was good to see him back on the ice.

11/12
Boston Bruins at Toronto Maple Leafs
L 6-1
So here we begin the downfall of the Bruins to the Canadian teams. The Bruins totally shit the bed against the Leafs and it was UGLY. Ex Bruin Phil Kessel got two ginos to help lead the Leafs. The Bruins were on a five game winning streak and the Leafs snapped it.

11/13
Boston Bruins at Montreal Canadiens
L 6-1
This game SUCKED. The Bruins were again the worse team in this tilt. I hate when the Bruins play terribly but when they play bad against the Canadiens its even worse. Absolutely HATE losing to the Habs. Normally the Bruins vs. Habs is a hard battled game and full of hatred, that was only coming from the Canadiens. Granted it was a back to back game after a brutal loss to the Leafs the previous night. I still don't think that's a justifiable excuse, the whole team was playing like poopy. The Bruins were outscored 11-2 during their Canadian road trip. PUKE. Connecticut native and Taft alumnus Max Pacioretty also got two ginos.

11/15
Carolina Hurricanes at Boston Bruins
W 2-1
So the Bruins finally snapped their terrible two game losing streak against the Hurricanes. If they lost to the Hurricanes, one of the worst teams in the league, I would have been really worried. I'm sure Claude Julien gave them a few choice words after their terrible road trip and they snapped back to reality. Rask played well blocking 33 of 34 shots from the Canes. The B's played better against the Canes but I still think there's a lot of room for improvement. It's a step in the right direction but I expect them to keep it rolling now.
